how art activities can affect society

My journal this week focuses on how art activities can affect society. It can be seen that the definition of art acts very vaguely in modern society. For example, there are not only exhibitions and planning, but also memes that contain socially critical messages circulating on SNS, street paintings, and performance arts. When all of them can be seen as art, it can be seen that these artistic acts have a sufficient social impact. However, exhibitions that have gone through the planning stage are intertwined with many interests. Therefore, it can be said that it is a successful exhibition to show them valuable results.

When planning new exhibitions or artistic activities, the effects and effects of events are considered. Usually, the purpose of the exhibition is to connect art producers and consumers, and that purpose sometimes places more weight on artists and sometimes viewers. It would be perfect if the artistic completeness and expression were satisfactory and contributed to the social community, but it is not easy to satisfy everyone. Not only does the social effect of art not appear immediately, but it is difficult to measure like the figures of the economy, so it is not as easy to give evidence as verbal arguments.

However, "Gift of the Mus" promotes social interaction among community members to create a sense of community identity and help build social capital at the community level. It can be interpreted that the personal satisfaction and joy obtained from art can be interpreted as meaning that social solidarity or community meaning can be formed by expanding empathy and enhancing awareness ability. By enjoying art, you can expect social effects as well as new sensory experiences and emotional satisfaction.

Among the various values pursued by the community, art is somewhat behind in the rankings compared to survival-related problems such as the economy. Some question what role art plays socially and question that art is protected as a social public good. It may be because they do not know the value of the joy of art leading to an unexpected social role. We also order the effectiveness of art by means something and quantifying it based on the benefits of technology and function. However, the stronger the art's natural joy and empathy, the more social contributions it will be able to make
